Hadley cheris, tryon palace gardens and greenhouse manager, will lead a tour of the first floor of the governor’s palace, describing the special items used in the decorations, designing tips and the pieces’ four seasons theming for this year’s holiday decor. Tryon palace’s candlelight christmas celebration takes place on two consecutive saturdays in december, the 11th and 18th, beginning at 4:30 pm and ending at 9:30 pm with the fireworks display.
